There are generally three types of overlapping forms for building mesh: tower stacking method, buckle stacking method, and flat stacking method.
The stacking method and the buckle method have advantages such as fewer steel bar numbers and convenient installation, but the number of steel bars at the overlapping point is more, which affects the stress of the steel mesh. The longitudinal and transverse steel bars at the overlapping point of the flat lap method are respectively in the same plane, and the stress is better, but the overlapping length is larger than the former. The characteristic of building mesh is the traditional method of building, which uses new metal materials to reinforce the walls, making the building more sturdy. It can replace brick walls as various load-bearing walls, non load-bearing walls, floor slabs, balconies, etc. Building mesh has the characteristics of expanding the usable area of buildings (10% -15%), thermal insulation, sound insulation, earthquake resistance, waterproofing, simple construction, and light weight, while greatly reducing project costs.
The overlap of building mesh can be divided into two types: the overlap of stressed steel bars and the overlap of non stressed steel bars.
According to the specifications, the overlap length and anchorage length are specified as follows:
1.When non stressed steel bars are overlapped or buckled, there should be at least one stressed main steel bar in each steel mesh within the overlapping range, and the overlapping length should not be less than 20d and should not be less than 150mm; When using the flat lap method, the lap length should not be less than 20d and should not be less than 200mm.
2. When the load-bearing steel bars are overlapped or buckled, each building mesh should have at least one transverse steel bar within the overlapping range. The distance between one transverse steel bar outside the two building meshes should not be less than 50mm, and the overlapping length of the two building meshes should not be less than d (concrete strength is equivalent to C35) and not less than 200mm; When the load-bearing steel reinforcement adopts the flat lap method, the overlapping length of the two steel mesh should not be less than 37d (the concrete strength is equal to C35) and should not be less than 300mm.
3. The small anchorage length of cold-rolled ribbed steel mesh should not be less than 28d (when there are transverse steel bars within the anchorage length and the concrete strength is equal to C35) and not less than 200mm.
