Application of steel mesh in bridge engineering

Mainly used in municipal bridge and highway bridge deck pavement, old bridge deck transformation, pier crack prevention and so on. Through thousands of domestic bridge application engineering quality acceptance shows that the use of welding mesh significantly improves the quality of bridge deck paving layer, the pass rate of protective layer thickness is more than 97%, the flatness of bridge deck is improved, the bridge deck is almost no cracks, the pavement speed is increased by more than 50%, and the bridge deck paving project cost is reduced by about 10%.

 

Welded mesh or prefabricated cold-rolled ribbed mesh should be used for the bridge deck paving layer, and binding steel mesh should not be used.

 

The diameter and spacing of the steel mesh used for bridge deck pavement should be determined according to the structure form and load grade of the bridge. The steel mesh spacing can be 100-200mm, and its diameter should be 6 l00mm.

 

Steel mesh vertical and horizontal should be equal spacing, welding mesh from the top of the protective layer thickness should not be less than 20mm.
